Drawing from both institutions’ joint study in Kenya, Uganda, and Zambia on “Water Sector Regulation and Sector Financing Framework and Tools”, the webinar will outline the key components in strategic sector financial planning, highlight the elements of sector finance and impact on the performance of service providers, and present the role of the Regulator in water supply and sanitation financing framework with regard to investment planning, implementation and monitoring. It will also provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities, advocating for strengthened financing frameworks and coordination for effective and impactful investment in the water sector
