ENGAGE

This digital engagement hub will enable ESAWAS to continue learning about sector requirements, what is working and is not, in order to improve approaches and tailor interventions applicable in practice at a continental level.

ESAWAS believes in the saying that ‘If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together’.

ESAWAS recognises that, key to improving access and quality of water supply and sanitation (WSS) services, we must go together. Regulators play a pivotal role in balancing the interests of Government, service providers and consumers.

In this regard, this platform has been created for regulators to lend a close listening ear to the voices of the sector.

The ESAWAS Engage Community seeks to address four categories of audience

  • Members: for ratified Members of ESAWAS
  • Regulators: for any WSS regulatory entity across Africa
  • Service Providers: for regulated Utilities and private sector operators
  • Youth and women: for young and female professionals interested in regulation
