This report provides the overall performance of 82 Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSA_S). The report is the 16th in a series of water sector performance review reports prepared by EWURA. It focuses on key performance data and indicators in the provision of water supply and sanitation services and ranks WSSA’s performance. Moreover, the report provides key observations and recommendations for the improvement of services

This report presents Water Utility Regulation Department’s evaluation of the FY2023/24 performance of Uganda’s water utility sector, which currently serves 24.33 million Ugandans through 907 gazetted supply schemes. In terms of key achievements, revenue collections increased significantly from UGX 484.3 billion to UGX 601.7 billion, and service coverage expanded by 7%. Additionally, water production reached 172.38 million cubic meters, and a Meter Testing and Calibration Centre is being established in Entebbe. The Regulation Management Information System (REMIS) is also under development.
